EU 14-Day Withdrawal

EU consumers may have additional withdrawal rights

IMPORTANT: All payments are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Unused tokens have no monetary value, do not roll over, and are not refundable. If your account is terminated for violating our Terms, no refund will be provided.

1. How to Cancel

You can cancel your Typossum subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts, cancellation fees, or penalties.

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Log in to your account at typossum.com
  2. Go to your Account page
  3. Click “Manage Subscription” to open the billing portal
  4. Select “Cancel subscription”

What happens after cancellation:

  • You retain full access to the service until the end of your current billing period
  • Your token balance will not renew at the next billing cycle
  • No further charges will be made to your payment method
  • Your account and data remain accessible (see our Privacy Policy for data retention details)

2. Refunds

All payments are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

How to request a refund:

Contact us at with your account email and reason for the refund request. We will review your request and respond as soon as possible.

Not eligible for a refund:

  • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Unused tokens (tokens have no monetary value and are not refundable)
  • Free trial balances (no charge was made)
Apple App Store purchases: If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you must request a refund directly from Apple. Typossum does not process refunds for App Store purchases.

3. EU Consumer Withdrawal Rights

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., an email to ).

Important: By using paid features immediately after purchase, you expressly request immediate performance of the Service. Depending on applicable law, if you later withdraw within 14 days, your refund may be reduced by a proportional amount for service already provided. In some cases permitted by law, withdrawal rights may end after full performance.

If you exercise your EU withdrawal right, we will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.

4. Tokens & Usage After Cancellation

Typossum uses a token-based usage measurement system for AI features. Here is how tokens work in relation to cancellations:

  • No monetary value: Tokens are a unit of measurement for your usage license. They are not a digital currency, stored value, or property. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
  • Use-it-or-lose-it: Tokens do not roll over between billing periods. Unused tokens at the end of your billing cycle expire and are forfeited.
  • After cancellation: You can continue using your remaining tokens until the end of the current billing period. After that, your token balance resets to zero and the service will stop processing text.

5. Reactivation

You can resubscribe to Typossum at any time after cancelling. When you resubscribe:

  • Your account and settings are preserved
  • You will receive a fresh token balance based on your new plan
  • A new billing cycle begins on the date of resubscription
  • Your previous data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy

Consumer Rights Notice: Your rights under our refund and cancellation policy are in addition to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including but not limited to EU consumer law and the laws of your country of residence.
