Fix Spelling

The core feature. Fix Spelling corrects spelling mistakes, grammar errors, punctuation issues, and typos in your text. It preserves your meaning and style while cleaning up mistakes.

What it fixes: Misspellings, missing punctuation, grammatical errors, capitalization
How to use it: Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (or Cmd+Shift+Enter on Mac)
When to use it: Anytime you want error-free text without changing your phrasing

Example:

Before: "i cant beleive how quikly this worsk"
After: "I can't believe how quickly this works"

Improve Clarity

Goes beyond error correction. Improve Clarity rewrites your text for better readability, word choice, and sentence structure — while keeping your original meaning.

What it does: Simplifies sentences, improves word choice, tightens phrasing
How to use it: Press Ctrl+Shift+K (or Cmd+Shift+K on Mac)
How it differs from Fix Spelling: Fix Spelling only corrects errors; Improve Clarity actively rewrites for better readability

Example:

Before: "The thing is that basically we need to make it so the app does the stuff faster"
After: "We need to make the app perform faster"

Message Tones

Available in the browser extension. Message Tones rephrase your text to match a specific communication style. Five tones are available:

Friendly	Warm and approachable	Social media, casual messages

Auto-Correction (Android Keyboard)

Available on the Android keyboard with a Pro subscription. Auto-Correction watches what you type and automatically fixes obvious errors after a short 500ms pause.

How it works: After you stop typing for half a second, Typossum checks for clear mistakes and corrects them
Non-intrusive: Only fixes obvious errors — it won't rewrite your sentences
Full control: Toggle auto-correction on or off in keyboard settings

Typossum supports four languages for AI corrections:

English (EN)
Polish (PL)
Ukrainian (UK)
Russian (RU)

Auto-detect: Typossum can automatically detect the language of your text and apply the right corrections.
